Love Outreach Food Pantry and Clothes Closet

Love Outreach Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing needed food and clothing to Orange County residents. The organization is 100% volunteers, staffed by approximately 50 “full-time” volunteers and many others who help as often as possible to help fulfill their mission to help those in need.

Now in their 39th year, the Food Pantry has expanded over the years and now serves an average of nearly 350 households, or approximately 1000 individuals, each month, providing not just distribution days each week for people to “shop” but also providing monthly home deliveries to the elderly and disabled clients who cannot get to the pantry.

All the items in the Food Pantry and the Clothes Closet are available at no charge to those in need. The Pantry spends between $10,000 and $12,000 each month purchasing items from local grocery stores and relies on various grant programs and the generosity of the community to cover this cost. The pantry will also accept donations of food items, a list of suggested items can be found on their website. As costs have increased the need has also grown, and the Pantry is very appreciative of community support.
